Specialty Services
P&E Pest Control also offers a full line of specialty services including:
Ficus Whitefly Treatments - First reported in 2007, the Fig Whitefly, also known as the ficus whitefly, has become an ongoing problem for homeowners with ficus trees and hedges. Defoliated ficus hedges and trees are a common sight almost anywhere you go in south Florida.
Spiral Whitefly Treatments - In late summer of 2011, a species of whitefly was reported to be attacking several palm and plant species in Palm Beach County. The Rugose Spiraling Whitefly has been spreading rapidly and has a wide range of hosts. Unlike the Ficus Whitefly, the spiraling whitefly is not expected to cause severe defoliation or die-back of the infected plant.
Soil Conditioning and Amendments - Because of its structure, Florida soil does not hold on to nutrients very well. Many plant nutrients dissolve in water, so they tend to leach out of sandy soil fast. Our Soil Conditioning Service blends slow release fertilizers and micronutrients with organic material and beneficial microbes to enrich the soil and ensure that your landscape has everything it needs to look its best.
Turf Painting - Whether due to drought conditions, water restrictions, pest or disease damage, our turf painting service can temporarily turn your brown grass green again. Applications are water based and rain fast in about an hour. Results usually last about 2-4 weeks depending on
grass type and time of year.
